 
In 2006, a coalition led by the British Lung Foundation launched Action Mesothelioma Day (AMD) in order to raise the profile of the condition and promote the Mesothelioma Charter.
HASAG was only four months old by the second AMD in February 2007 and we travelled to the balloon sponsorship event in Manchester and helped to raise £21,156 for mesothelioma research.
Back in February 2007, we promised ourselves that the South would have its own event in 2008…
